I am excited about this blog posts, and I am going to show you a break down of the renovation costs for the two most recent rental properties. I was told in conversation with an audience member that they would like to see this, so I am EXTREMELY excited to give you guys exactly what you want! I am more than happy to help you with this, and if this can give you some sort of goal to obtain for savings/costs, then wonderful.
Keep these things in mind:

Maryland home was built in 1905
Virginia home built in 1956 (a great year!)
I performed DIY on the Maryland residence for a lot of items, and I performed no tasks for the Virginia home.

    Hi Lisa,

Just wanted to thank you for all your help. I moved from Atlanta to Philadelphia for a job opportunity and rented out my house back in Atlanta. In one of your podcasts (I don’t remember which one) you mentioned about how you always go with the top rated vendors. It was obvious, but so simple.

So, when I was looking around for a property manager, I followed your advice. So far, they’ve been great and I have the peace of mind knowing that I do have recourse if anything goes wrong since they are highly rated with Angie’s List and BBB.

It’s an exciting time in my life and it’s great knowing that someone has been where I’m going. Thanks for your videos, podcasts and your time in helping folks out.
